April LeMaire Knight...
...grew up in Rising Sun, Maryland and first began enjoying art in high school. From then on she started taking studio courses and independent art studies in school to enhance her skills as an artist. In fall of 2004 she traveled to Charleston, South Carolina to study at Charleston Southern University (CSU). It was there that she truly saw her calling to art as a ministry.
The Calling
The Call:
April received her call to full time art ministry just before the beginning of her junior year in college. After studying nursing for 2 years and painting as a hobby, April felt called by God to pursue art full time. God gave her a vision to influence others around her to use their gifts to worship God and to dream big dreams.

Influence:
April's art stems from the surrealist movement minus the creepy images of course. Two of her favorite artists include Rene Magritte and Salvador Dali.
For the most part, April draws from Scripture to find subject matter for her pieces.
